Hello Spring!!
8 Rhode Island Red and 6 Buff Orpington chicks. This will bring out total number of chickens to 24! 23 hens and 1 rooster. That is until our meat chickens come next month!

I'd be glad to leave winter behind as of this very moment! I don't know about at your house, but here Mother Nature has been playing tricks on us. We've had many new birds returning to sing their various songs, geese honking and coming in for a landing in the reservoir behind us, and even a bit of sun peeking in and out.......but the snow has been coming down in spurts on and off all day!!!! :(
